By synthesizing compounds on the chemical scaffold used by ISMs, ISM Therapeutics is able to start with biologically active molecules in its compound library.  This strategy circumvents the tedious screening of random compounds against single targets to find active compounds.

• Allows control of redundant or compensatory pathways with one drug.

ISM Therapeutics’s molecules have the capacity to control redundant or compensatory signaling pathways and therefore have shown a broader efficacy profile.
